May Webinar: Who has time to rest?

Once the event is full, please add yourself to our mailing list here to receive the replay.  You’ll also be the first to hear about our next webinar in June, by being on our list.

Out of stock

Join us as we explore rest, worthiness and what it means to be productive.

For many of us, this global slow down is an opportunity to redefine our attitudes towards both work and self-care.  Although many of us are finding ourselves with more time on our hands, the pressure to keep ‘doing’ is immense.

As high-achieving women, it can often be difficult to slow down and give ourselves permission to truly rest.  We associate productivity with worth.  When we’re not ‘doing’, we feel guilty.

Our May webinar features special guest, Michelle Mashonganyika – Psychotherapist, Practitioner of “Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Matter” and a Student of Afrikan and Indigenous Life Pathways.

You’ll get to:

  • Explore how you got here – Michelle will touch on history and traditional wisdoms on rest
  • Tackle why you attach worthiness to productivity
  • Look at and learn from the body’s design
  • Slow down, breathe and be present – with a relaxation exercise
  • Walk away with resources to help you explore rest, beyond the session

We’re aware of the fatigue that many are experiencing with Zoom calls so, in keeping true to our topic, expect a virtual call with a difference!

Give yourself a well-deserved pause… and transformative tools that will strengthen your foundation to be your best.

Date: Wednesday, 27 May

*Please note that this event is open to female founders only, sorry fellas!*

This event is hosted by designer and branding mentor, Lulu Kitololo, and business coach, Danielle Anderson, co-founders of the Afri-love Connection Club, a network for female founders in Mombasa and Nairobi.

We use our complementary expertise and experience to support other female founders, whether you’re a one woman shop or building a global empire.

We recognise that there are unique challenges that we’re all facing as women in business. Our bespoke women’s network provides a more holistic approach to business growth. A way that doesn’t compromise all the other things that are important to us, be they health, family, self-care etc.

The Afri-love Connection Club is a safe space to talk about the important stuff, co-create solutions and support each other in business, so we can all thrive and grow, both personally and professionally.

You do not need to be a member of the Club to join our event, but you do need to be a female!

If you’re unable to join us for the event, but would like to learn more about the Club and our future events, add your details here and we’ll be in touch over email soon!
